1. Unscrew the three screws holding the IC regulator and
remove the regulator.
• IMPORTANT:
• Once removed, the screws should be kept in order so that
each can be readily identified for reassembly; this is
important because their lengths vary according to the
terminal. If an improper screw is accidentally used, the
screw may contact the rear end frame and cause the
regulator to malfunction, which result in overcharging of
the battery or other serious failures.

1, Remove the four screws holding the rectifier and the
stator lead wires.

1. Remove the two nuts and two screws holding the drive
end frame and the rear end frame.
