Valve Clearance
1. Loosen the lock nut and the adjusting screw on the rocker
arm.
2. Turn the adjusting screw to adjust the valve clearance at
the top dead center (T.D.C) during the compression
stroke of the piston.
3. Tighten the lock nut and check the valve clearance again
after several turns of the flywheel.
• NOTE:
• To get T.D.C of the piston, find its "TC" mark on the
flywheel and align it to the punch mark line on the rear
end plate (See photo).
0.15 to 0.18mm
Valve clearance Factory specification
0.0059 to 0.0071 in.
DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
Engine Stands Installation
1. Prepare the engine stands, referring to the figure.
2. Remove the radiator and install the stands to the engine.
