Checking Engine Oil Level
1. Level the engine.
2. To check the oil level, draw out the dipstick
(1),
wi pe it
clean, reinsert it, and draw it out again.
Check to see that the oil level lies between the two
notches.
3. If the level is too low, add new oil to the specified level.
4. When using an oil of a different maker or viscosity from
the previous one, remove all old oil. Never mix two
different types of oil.
• NOTE:
• Use the proper Engine Oil SAE according to the ambient
temperatures.

Changing Engine Oil
1. After warming up, stop the engine.
2. To change the used oil, remove the drain plug ( 1
I
at the
bottom of the engine and drain off the oil completely.
3. Reinstall the drain plug.
4. Fill the new oil up to the upper notch on the dipstick.
• IMPORTANT:
• Engine oil should be MIL·L·46152/MIL·L-2104C or have
properties of API classification CC/CD grades.
• Change the type of engine oil according to the ambient
temperature.
