Important!
After the successful fast entry, please read through this handbook very carefully, step by
step, so that you can find out all the various functions and possibilities offered by
TRAIN-NAVIGATION and then fully utilise them accordingly. After each step, try out what
you have just learned with a small experiment, so that you are comfortable with the use
of the TRAIN-NAVIGATION.

Fast Entry

As an example, the fast entry will be carried out by using just one receiver. Here we will
explain to you, just how easy it is to connect up your navigation transmitter and navigation
receiver and achieve your first results. It would probably be best to carry out the fast entry
with the help of a small test track, which you can build separately from the main layout.
Pre-requisites:
Within the realms of this fast entry, to test the components and experience the TRAIN-
NAVIGATION for the first time, you will need the following:
TWIN-CENTER 6802 with software version V 1.100
Transformer 6812 (recommended) or 6811
FLEISCHMANN-Loco with digital decoder (TWIN/DCC/FMZ)
Navigation Transmitter 6832
Navigation Receiver 6833 incl. Sensors
LocoNet-Cable 6887 or 6888
It is best to start off with the TRAIN-NAVIGATION-Set 6831. This contains straight away,
2 of each navigation transmitter 6832, navigation receiver 6833 (with all together 4 sensors)
and LocoNet-Cable 6887.
Advice
If your TWIN-CENTER only has the original software-version V1.000 (you can find out
this information in the basic settings menu under >Software Vers.), you can still carry out
the fast entry as described here without any problem. However, when you wish to pro-
gram your navigation receiver later, then you will need a TWIN-CENTER with the soft-
ware V1.100.
A TWIN-CENTER with the software V1.000 can be updated to version V1.100 with an
update (via your dealer or similarly from the internet from www.fleischmann.de or
www.fleischmann.co.uk).
Installation of the Navigation Transmitter
Using the accompanying adhesive tape, fasten the navigation transmitter under your digital-
ly controlled locomotive. The adhesive tape should be fixed to the flat surface of the navi-
gation transmitter (the side without electronic components). The side of the navigation trans-
mitter with electronic components must point downwards (towards the track). If there is
insufficient space under your loco to mount the navigation transmitter (especially in N
gauge), you could fix the navigation transmitter under a wagon or coach, but do not forget
that you must permanently allocate the appropriate loco address.
