Switching Operation

In the switching operation, you can install the sensors both together in one location with the
aid of the stencil guide, which we will then call a double-sensor. This will be required when
actions are to be carried out which are dependent on the direction of travel. In order to achie-
ve this, then a 2 must be programmed for the operational style of the navigation receiver in
LNCV2.

However, the sensors can also be installed in completely different location in the layout, in
which case we call them single sensors. Now when a vehicle runs over the sensors only
actions which are independent of the direction of travel will be activated. For this style of
operation a value 3 must be programmed in LNCV2.
