If you have two navigation receivers out of the TRAIN-NAVIGATION-Set, then join the
second navigation receiver to the „LocoNet B" socket of your TWIN-CENTER. In any case,
for further extensions, the LocoNet-T connection should take precedence, as this connec-
tion has a greater electrical capability.
If you have more than 2 navigation receivers, then you will need one or more LocoNet-distri-
butors 6836. This has 5 sockets to connect in LocoNet-cables and one shorter cable with
a LocoNet-plug. This LocoNet-plug can be inserted into the „LocoNet T" socket of the
TWIN-CENTER, or into a socket on another LocoNet-distributor.

Advice
If the dedicated plug of a LocoNet-distributor is inserted into the socket of a navigation
receiver, then the navigation receiver will not function.
The LocoNet-cable 6887, 6888 to navigation receivers, or other digital equipment with a
LocoNet-socket (TWIN-CONTROL, TWIN-BOX, LOK-BOSS ....) or to additional LocoNet-
distributors can be connected into the sockets of the Loco-Net-distributor 6836.
If there is no Loco-Net cable long enough to join together two modules (navigation receivers
or other LocoNet-equipment), then the LocoNet-cable can be extended using the LocoNet-
coupling 6889.
To make sure that the connection of the navigation receiver is correct, there is a small con-
trol-LED on the receiver on the left, next to the connection clips for the sensors. If a loco with
a navigation transmitter runs over a sensor, or a wagon with a navigation transmitter is pus-
hed over a sensor, then the recognition of the information will be indicated by this LED ligh-
ting up.

Programming the Navigation Receiver

After the installation and connection, but before the programming of the navigation receiver,
the first step is to check whether everything is functioning correctly and the TWIN-CENTER
can make a connection to the navigation receiver.
As described in chapter 5.4, the navigation receiver signals the recognition of the infra-red
information from a vehicle passing over it by blinking its LED. If this happens, then the sen-
sors and the subsequent connection to the Loco-Net are correctly made.
