Mode for Function Commands:
Mode
Direction
Direction assessment
Function implementation When running over the sensors
in automatic operation When starting off
Advice
In normal switching operation the function commands are activated immediately when
running over the sensors. Setting the values 0/4 is irrelevant here. The values 0/4 are
only relevant in automatic operation, see chapter: 8.3.
Examples:
The navigation receiver is programmed according to the following table:
Programming of Electrical Accessories and Route Commands
Accessy. CV-Nr.
Address
8...
Value
9...
Mode
10...
Just what do these commands mean?
Loco-Addr. 94, will switch electrical accessory 56 to red (0) likewise to curve, thus
shown:
• •
(0) in direction from Sensor 1 to Sensor 2
• •
(2) with reference to the direction
• •
(0) in standard switching operation
• •
Therefore Mode = 0+2+0 = 2
Loco-Addr. 103, will switch route 10 in the group 2 and thus:
• •
(1) Direction from Sensor 2 to Sensor 1
• •
(2) with reference to the direction
• •
(0) in normal switching operation
• •
Therefore Mode = 1+2+0 = 3
Advice
• If you switch off the referral back to direction instruction, then the selection of the
direction from sensor 1 to sensor 2 or vice-versa from sensor 2 to sensor 1 has no
meaning, therefore similarly no direction needs to be programmed in
• By using 2 single sensors at different locations, then the referral back to direction is
basically switched off
Selection
from Sensor 1 to Sensor 2
from Sensor 2 to Sensor 1
no, the direction is irrelevant
yes, with reference to the direction
