Provided that the decoder has all these functions available, the navigation receiver can call
up functions f0 to f12. The application of each function varies from decoder to decoder, so
please consult the instructions of your decoder.
The selection of the functions to be activated is carried out by programming a function-value
in the corresponding LNCV. The function values can be seen in the following table:

If several functions need to be switched on – or off, simultaneously, this can be achieved with
one single command: to do so, simply add the value of the relevant function-values toget-
her and program this in one go. However, it is not possible in one single command to turn
one function on and another one off at the same time. In this case there are special com-
mands which can be selected.
Example: Both the functions light and horn need to be activated, i.e. before a tunnel. Light
(key function on the TWIN-CENTER) is function f0 and has the value 1, the horn on FLEISCH-
MANN-Sound-Locos the function f2 and has the value 4, which when added together gives
the value 5, so this is the function value to be entered.
Mode for Function
As we have already discovered in the speed programming section, an entry in the LNCV for
the mode needs to be set in concrete form to carry out the function commands. The follo-
wing table shows which value corresponds to the possible concretising.
