8.3.3 Station Stop

Basic Function
You wish to set up an automatic station stop for the train as shown in diagram 14:
Diagram 14: Station Stop
The following sequence will be activated with the navigation receiver:
Signal X at the station stop is set to red
The loco runs over the sensors of the navigation receiver
Approaching signal X set at red, the loco starts to brake with its own inertia, until it
comes to a halt
A settable, short period of time passes. The same period of time for all vehicles
Signal X is set to green
The loco starts off again accelerating to its original designated speed
Important: Signal X must then be set back to red again by an external sequence other-
wise the next train will run through the signal at green.
In order to achieve this sequence, the following LNCVs should be programmed:
LNCV
Name
0
Module address
1
2. Sensoraddr.

Operation style
3
Direction
4
Waiting time
6
Signal address
Station Stop for both directions
LNCV6 contains the address of the signal, which should operate in the programmed active
direction of the station stop. Unique to the station stop though is that there is the possibili-
ty that this automation will work in both directions. If this shall be the case, then (LNCV3=2),
it must therefore have two signals available. The address X entered in LNCV6 is the signal in
direction sensor 1 -> Sensor 2, in direction sensor 2 -> Sensor 1 the signal X+1 will then
automatically operate. Both signals need not actually be on the layout, but they must be
registered in the TWIN-CENTER.
