style 20 is the same shuttle stretch with active occupation reporting. Operation style 8 is an

In chapter 8.3.5.2 we have already explained the track manager in the station (operation style
23) to you. You can now see in the table above, that operation style of the track manager
corresponds exactly to that of a block section, but in addition will report back the track con-
dition, whether it is free/occupied.
The tracks supervised by an entry and exit manager need not just be within a narrow station
area, but in principle, be distributed anywhere around the layout. This will enable you to set
up variable sequences. However, before you start, make sure that you have a good basic
knowledge of the operational sequences on the layout and lots of experience in program-
ming, together with an exact documentation of the navigation receiver programming. The
option of the „distributed station" is therefore really something to be considered by
experienced users.

LOK-BOSS

TRAIN-NAVIGATION is also suitable for use, although with restrictions, in conjunction with
the LOK-BOSS (Art. 6865). Speed and function commands can be carried out, but electrical
accessories on the layout cannot be operated. The automatic operation will operate condi-
tionally, because in this style of operation, electrical accessories must always be set and
supervised. Programming with the LOK-BOSS is not possible.
If you wish to connect the navigation receiver to the LOK-BOSS, then a setting in one LNCV
for the module configuration must be altered:
