8.3.2 Shuttle stretch externally controlled

Basic Function
You want to set up a shuttle operation on two parallel tracks as shown in the following dia-
gram.

The following sequence will be activated by the navigation receiver:
Loco A passes the red signal X coming from the rear
Loco A runs over the sensors of the navigation receiver
Loco A brakes with its own set inertia, coming to a halt, the direction of travel is chan-
ged whilst at a standstill (light)
Signal Y is set to green
Loco B on the parallel track starts off in the opposite direction accelerating to its desi-
gnated speed
Signal Y must subsequently be set back to red by another external sequence
Loco C on the now vacant track, runs past signal Y coming from the rear
Loco C runs over the sensors of the navigation receiver
Loco C brakes with its own set inertia until it comes to a halt, the direction of travel is
changed whilst at a standstill (light)
Signal X is set to green
Loco A sets off again in the opposite direction accelerating to its original designated
speed
Signal X must now be set back to red by another external sequence
In order to set up this sequence, the following LNCVs in both the navigation receivers are
programmed as follows:
