A cursor will now be blinking under the „0". The upper part of the display shows that you
have chosen to program or readout a receiver of type 6833 with the address 1. The lower
row in the example above shows that a „LocoNet-Configuration Variable" (LNCV) Nr. 0 has
the value 1.
Similarly to the loco-decoders, the performance of the navigation receiver, in other words,
the commands to be called up as the navigation transmitter runs over the sensors are set in
various Configuration Variables = CV. In order to differentiate between loco-decoder-CVs
and the CVs of the navigation receiver, the latter, because they are not connected to the
track, but connected to the TWIN-CENTER via the LocoNet instead, are known as LocoNet-
CVs (LNCV).
To check that your navigation receiver communication is correct, its control-LED will blink.
And here is how it is done:
Press the [menu]-key
Press the [mode]-key
Using the [↓] -key, scroll down to find the entry (LocoNet Prog.)
Continue with the [→]-key
Enter the article-number (6833)
Confirm with the [↵] key
Enter the module-address (factory setting 1)
LNCV 0 will now be displayed and its current value

Programming and Readout

When the cursor is blinking at the LNCV position, the number of a LNCV of your navigation
receiver can be entered via the keyboard of the TWIN-CENTER. After confirmation with the
[↵] key, the current value of this LNCV will be shown on the right, meaning that the LNCV
can be read.
Press the [→] key and the cursor will jump to the current value. Using the numerical key-
board you can now change the value. By pressing the [↵] key, the new value will be stored
in the navigation receiver, meaning that the LNCV has been programmed.
Pressing the [←] key you can go to the left again to enter another LNCV-number. Pressing
the [←] key again, you will come back again to enter another receiver address in case you
wish to program another navigation receiver. You can exit the navigation programming by
pressing the [menu] key.
And here's how it's done:
After calling up the desired navigation receiver you will have in the display:
LNCV:...0=____1 (indicates the module-address in LNCV0), the cursor will be
blinking at the 0 position. Instead of the factory value 1, another address which has
already been programmed may appear.
Enter the desired LNCV-number via the keyboard of the TWIN-CENTER
Confirm with the [↵] key, the read out value will be shown on the right
Using the [→] key go to the value of the LNCV
Change the value via the keyboard of the TWIN-CENTER
Confirm with the [↵] key, the new value has now been programmed
Go back with the [←] key to select another LNCV
Go back again with the [←] key to select another navigation receiver
Or press the [menu] key to exit the programming
