8.2.2 Alter the speed
The 10 commands for speeds are as shown in the columns of the following table entered
into the LNCVs 50 to 79. As follows:
LNCV 50 – 59: Vehicle addresses for speed commands
LNCV 60 – 69: Values for speeds
LNCV 70 – 79: Mode for speeds
The LNCVs which will make up a command are always differentiated by a value of 10 from
each other. For example: the specifications for the first command will be found in the LNCVs
(50, 60, 70), those for the second command in the LNCVs (51, 61, 71) and so on. This is pro-
bably best illustrated by means of a table in which each column represents a command:

Once the navigation receiver has recognised the address and category of a navigation trans-
mitter, it will search through the LNCVs 50 – 59 in ascending order (likewise 50 – 54 or
55 – 59, according to the sensor and operational style), to ascertain whether a special com-
mand exists for this address or category or whether there is a command for the general
address. You should program in this sequence, because there are differing priorities between
the three possibilities, first the commands for the general address, then for the category and
then finally for the individual addresses. In chapter 9.3 you will discover how these priorities
can be utilised in the arrangement of the operations.
Speed Values
The speed of a vehicle can be programmed as an absolute value or as a percentage.
