To check the correct connections, the navigation receiver also contains a few pre-set
commands as well. These are already set at the factory so that the headlights of a vehicle,
irrespective of which address it has, will be turned on in one direction, and off again in the
other direction as the vehicle passes over the sensors. This is easy to recognise on a loco,
but to do this with a wagon fitted with a navigation transmitter, push it over the sensors to
check the function of the navigation receiver and call up the address of the navigation trans-
mitter on the TWIN-CENTER and keep an eye on the „function" key. Instead of the loco
lighting switching on and off, this LED will now activate. You will have already come across
this function checking procedure in the fast entry section.
Once everything appears to be in order, you can start to carry out the programming func-
tions.

Navigation Receiver Selection

Advice
If your TWIN-CENTER still has the software-version V1.000 (you can find this informa-
tion in the basic settings menu under >Software Vers.), then you will be able to
successfully carry out the connections described so far and check it all out without
any problem. Now, however, you will wish to program your navigation receiver. You will
now need a TWIN-CENTER with the software version V1.100. A TWIN-CENTER with
the software V1.000 can be updated using the software-update to version V1.100
(via your local dealer or likewise from the internet from www.fleischmann.de or
www.fleischmann.co.uk).
First of all the navigation receiver to be programmed needs to be selected on the LocoNet
or in other words, called up. This is carried out in the basic settings menu of your TWIN-
CENTER with the software version V1.100, under the menu-point
Basic Setting
> LocoNet Prog.
After selecting the LocoNet-programming the display will ask the article number of the
module to be programmed.
LocoNet Prog.:
Art.-Nr.: .....
In this instance of the navigation receiver, you can now enter the article number 6833 and
confirm with the [↵] key. The next step is to enter the module-address („house number") of
the receiver to be programmed:
LN Prog.: 06833
Modul Adr: .....
Important
The module-address has already been set at the factory to the value „1". In order to indi-
vidually program the navigation receiver later in its installed location, each new naviga-
tion receiver must firstly be individually installed and its module address changed.
The entry of the module-address is finalised by the [↵] key.
Now this menu is displayed
LNPr 06833-00001
LNCV:...0=____1
