This sequence can be achieved by programming a block-speed in LNCV9.

Speed step values 2-127 will automatically be calculated from the TWIN-CENTER depen-
dent on the loco and the individual speed step settings of your loco, i.e. 14/27/28/128 for
DCC or 15 for FMZ. Because of the many various possibilities there may be a slight
discrepancy between each one.
If in LNCV9 a speed step (from 2 upwards) is entered as a roll-on, block-speed speed for the
vehicle, on running over the first sensor the vehicle will begin braking and then when pas-
sing over the second sensor will finally be brought to a halt. Using the factory setting
LNCV9=0 the function block-speed will be switched off.
Block with traffic in the opposite direction
By positioning the sensors in the manner described above, it is not possible to allow a loco
to run through the block in the opposite direction unhindered, because the sensor at the
beginning of the block will always react. If a block also needs to be run through in the oppo-
site direction, without a reaction of the sensors at the beginning of the block, a 3rd sensor
must be installed in the track, which, together with the first sensor will give a double-sensor
(distance as per the stencil). This is connected in parallel to the terminals of the sensor at the
block end.
Thus: If sensors are installed in block-direction set as sensor 1 to brake, and sensor 2 to halt,
then sensor 3 in this direction is installed behind sensor 1, but connected parallel to sensor
2. If the installation of the sensors is the other way round, set as sensor 2 will activate the
braking and sensor 1 the halt, then sensor 3 in this direction is installed behind sensor 2, but
connected parallel to sensor 1.
