Technical Data

The navigation transmitter is a high-value, electronic circuit which is protected by a trans-

mounting under the vehicle, but at the same time allows through the infra-red light to trans-
mit the digital information.

Short addresses, pre-set: 3 (active)
Long addresses, pre-set: 2000 (passive)
Loco-addresses 1 – 9999
Wagon-addresses 10000 – 16382
Four category indications 1 – 4

Installation

When installing the navigation transmitter please handle the delicate electronic components
with care, as explained in the preface in chapter 1!
Fasten the navigation transmitter under your digital locomotive using the accompanying
double-sided adhesive tape. The adhesive tape should be fixed to the flat side of the navi-
gation transmitter (without electronic components). The side of the navigation transmitter
with components must point downwards (towards the track). If there is insufficient space
under a loco (particularly in N gauge), then you can mount the navigation transmitter under
a wagon, which you must then permanently allocate to the loco.
Especially when mounting in a wagon, you must ensure that there will be good power pick-
up to the vehicle. For example, if the vehicle runs with no flicker on the interior lighting, then
the navigation transmitter can be installed without any problems.
