Diagram 1: Installation of the Sensors and Clips
Fix the navigation receiver under your baseboard in the area of the sensors. To do so, there
is a stencil included with the navigation receiver to guide you where to make two holes to
put two screws (round-headed screws Ø 2,5 x 10) just far enough into the board so that the
mounting slots of the navigation receiver can be slid over them into position. Now using a
small screwdriver screw in the screws in these holes of the guide fixing it into its final
position.
Now fix the white wires of the sensors into the connection terminals of the navigation recei-
ver marked „w", and the corresponding grey wires into the connection terminals marked „g".
Put one end of your LocoNet-cable into the „LocoNet T" socket of your TWIN-CENTER and
the other end into the LocoNet-socket of the navigation receiver. Now the control-LED on
the navigation receiver will briefly light up to prove the connection.
Advice
If there is a great distance to the TWIN-Center, you can extend the LocoNet-cable. There
is a LocoNet-coupling 6889, LocoNet-extension cable 2,15 m 6887, LocoNet-extension
cable 0,60 m 6888 and LocoNet-distributor 6836 available if you need them.
If you have two navigation receivers, i.e. the two out of the TRAIN-NAVIGATION-Set, then
join the second navigation receiver to the „LocoNet B" socket of your TWIN-CENTER or if
using a LocoNet-distributor(s) 6836 (not contained in the set) with the „LocoNet T" socket.
In any case, for further extensions, the LocoNet-T connection should take precedence, as
this connection has a greater electrical capability.
