In order to achieve this sequence, the following LNCVs need to be programmed as follows:

Advice
Whilst LNCV6 only contains the signal address, it links up LNCV7 and LNCV8 for the sig-
nal addresses with the switching direction (0 for red, 1 for green).
If the signal at the exit end of the block section is green when the loco runs over the sen-
sors, then the loco will not be brought to a halt. In all cases however, it will set the signals X
and Y of the previous block section.
Extended Functions
The basic function as described above can be extended by programming additional LNCVs:
Individual switching operation
Chapter 8.2 is concerned with the individual switching operation, and how the vehicle can
change individual vehicle functions, speeds or switch electrical accessories. All of the swit-
ching functions as described there can also be individually programmed in to the automatic
block system.
The mode function as described in chapter 8.2 allows us to decide whether a programmed
command is to be carried out immediately when running over the sensors, or a little later
when automatically setting off. If the signal at the exit end of the block section is set at red
when running over the sensors, then the speed commands will only be executed when star-
ting off, if the signal is at green however, then the speed commands will be executed straight
away.
Time delay to switch electrical accessories
If there are to be complete routes of points set as the vehicle first starts off, then it is not real-
ly feasible if the vehicle starts off straight away, immediately after sending out the signals.

receiver:
0
from Sensor 1 to Sensor 2
1
from Sensor 2 to Sensor 1
Z
Signal Z will be checked by its navigation receiver
to ascertain its condition. For red signal – stop, for
green signal – run through. It need not actually be
on the layout but must be registered in the
TWIN-CENTER
Y0
Signal Y in the now vacant block will automatically
be set red by the navigation receiver. It need not
actually be on the layout but must be registered in
the TWIN-CENTER
X1
Signal X will be set automatically to green by the
navigation receiver, so that the train can leave this
section and enter the vacant block. It need not
actually be on the layout but must be registered in
the TWIN-CENTER
