<Display configuration>
<Display configuration> can be found in the eBike Flow
app under <Settings> → <My eBike>. The eBike must be
switched on and the smartphone must be connected.
The content shown on your display can be customised
via <Display configuration>:
– Change the order of individual screens
– Add new screens
– Edit and partially delete existing screens
– Add new screens after an update
You can find further information on <Display configura-
tion> at any time in the eBike Flow app.
Selecting the Riding Mode
On the control unit, you can set the level of assistance you
want the drive to provide you with while pedalling.
Mini Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar: Briefly press (< 1 s)
the buttons to increase the assistance level + (6) or to re-
duce the assistance level – (8) in order to increase or de-
crease the assistance accordingly.
Kiox 400C: Briefly press (< 1 s) the mode button (14) to in-
crease the assistance.
Press the mode button (14) for longer than 1 s to decrease
the assistance.
The riding mode can be changed even while cycling, and is
displayed in colour.
Additional riding modes can be activated via the eBike Flow
app or at your service centre if this is provided by the bicycle
manufacturer.
Note: The available riding modes depend on the respective
drive unit.

OFF Drive assistance is switched off. The eBike can
just be moved by pedalling, as with a normal bi-
cycle.
Effective assistance with maximum efficiency,
ECO
for maximum range
ECO+ Range-optimised riding mode that only
switches on the drive assistance above a cer-
tain rider performance; for natural cycling and
for a maximum range
TOUR Steady assistance, long range for touring
TOUR+ Dynamic assistance for natural, sporty cycling
eMTB Optimal assistance whatever the terrain, rapid
acceleration when starting from a standstill, im-
proved dynamics and top performance
eMTB+ Dynamic support to the maximum – perfectly
dosed and with up to 100 % more "Extended
Boost" – for even more fun on trails
SPORT Powerful assistance, for mountain biking and
for cycling in urban traffic
TURBO Maximum assistance even at a high cadence,
for biking sports

AUTO The assistance is dynamically adapted to the
riding situation.
RACE Maximum assistance on the eMTB racetrack;
very direct response and maximum "Extended
Boost" for the best possible performance in
competitive situations
CARGO Steady, powerful assistance for safely trans-
porting heavy weights
SPRINT Dynamic assistance according to cadence – for
athletic eGravel and eRoad cycling with rapid
sprints and frequent ascents
Adjusting the Riding Mode
The riding modes can be adapted within certain limits using
the eBike Flow app. This gives you the option of adjusting
your eBike to your personal requirements.
It is not possible to create a completely new riding mode.
You can only adjust the riding modes that have been enabled
by the bicycle manufacturer on your system.
In addition, restrictions in your country may mean that it is
not possible to adjust a particular riding mode.
The following parameters are available for making adjust-
ments:
– Assistance in relation to the base value of the riding mode
(within the legal requirements)
– Drive response
– Top limit speed (within the legal requirements)
– Maximum torque (within the limits of the drive)
Note: Please ensure that your modified riding mode retains
the position, name and colour on all displays and controls.
Interaction between the drive unit and gear-
shifting
The gear shifting should be used with an eBike in the same
way as with a normal bicycle (observe the operating instruc-
tions of your eBike on this point).
Irrespective of the type of gear shifting, it is advisable that
you briefly reduce the pressure on the pedals when changing
gear. This will aid gear shifting and reduce wear on the
powertrain.
By selecting the correct gear, you can increase your speed
and range while applying the same amount of force.
For this reason, follow the gear change recommendations
displayed on your display screen.
