2. Select eBike Flow <Settings> → <My eBike> →
<eBike pass> → <Components> → <Add new device>
in the app. Then select <Mini Remote/Mini Remote
Dropbar>.
3. Mini Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar: Start the pairing
process by pressing any button until the pairing process
is shown by the LED indicator light (3) flashing blue.
4. Follow the instructions in the eBike Flow app.
If pairing is successful, this is shown within 30 s on the Mini
Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar operating unit by the LED
indicator light (3) flashing green three times.
If the connection cannot be established, this is shown by the
LED indicator light (3) flashing red three times. Repeat the
connection process.
If you want to connect the Mini Remote/Mini Remote Drop-
bar operating unit to a System Controller on another eBike,
the following steps must be carried out:
1. First connect your smartphone to the (see "Establishing
a Smartphone Connection with the System Controller",
page English – 5) system controller via the eBike Flow
app.
2. Select eBike Flow <Settings> → <My eBike> →
<eBike pass> → <Components> → <Add new device>
in the app. Then select <Mini Remote/Mini Remote
Dropbar>.
3. Mini Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar: Remove the coin
cell from the Mini Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar oper-
ating unit and wait for at least 30 s. Reinsert the coin cell
and wait until the LED indicator light (3) flashes green.
4. Within the next 10 s, press and hold the decrease as-
sistance level –/walk assistance (6) button for 5 s.
The pairing process is shown by the LED indicator
light (3) flashing blue for 30 s.
5. Follow the instructions in the eBike Flow app.
If pairing is successful, this is shown within 30 s on the
Mini Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar operating unit by
the LED indicator light (3) flashing green three times. If
the connection cannot be established, this is shown by
the LED indicator light (3) flashing red three times. Re-
peat the connection process.
Error messages
The operating unit shows whether critical errors or less crit-
ical errors occur on the eBike.
The error messages generated by the eBike can be read via
the eBike Flow app or by your bicycle retailer.
Via a link in the eBike Flow app, information about the error
and support for rectifying the error can be displayed.
Less critical errors
Less critical errors are shown by orange flashing, followed
by the riding mode LED (10) lighting up continuously. To ac-
knowledge the fault, press the select button (5) on the Mini
Bosch eBike Systems
Remote/Mini Remote Dropbar (1) operating unit or the
mode button (14) on the System Controller (2) operating
unit. The riding mode LED (10) once again continuously
shows the colour of the set riding mode.
You can use the following table to rectify the errors yourself
if necessary. Otherwise, please contact your bicycle retailer.

If you are using a magnet sensor, check that

If you are using a rim magnet, make sure that
you do not have any magnetic field interfer-
ence in the vicinity of the drive unit.

The indicated error numbers show that the
eBike battery is outside of the permissible

operating temperature. The charging of the

eBike battery is interrupted.

As soon as the operating temperature re-

process will start again.

Critical errors
Critical errors are shown by the riding mode LED (10) and
the battery charge indicator of the eBike battery (13) flash-
ing red and then lighting up continuously. Follow the instruc-
tions in the table below if a critical error occurs.
