Wichtige Hinweise zur
unipolaren Anwendung
Verbrennungsgefahren
Die HF-Chirurgie ist prinzipiell mit gewissen Risiken
für Anwender und Patient verbunden. Gefahren
können vor allem durch unbeabsichtigte thermische
Schädigung des Gewebes entstehen. Bei Kenntnis
der möglichen Ursachen und Beachtung der nach-
folgenden Sicherheits hin weise können Verbrennun-
gen jedoch vermieden werden.
Nicht kompatible oder ein ächige
Neutralelektrode
Bei Applikation einer nicht kompatiblen Neutralelek-
trode ist damit zu rechnen, dass die Überwachung
des Kontaktes zwischen der Neutralelektrode und
der Haut fehlerhaft ist. Bei Applikation einer ein ä-
chigen Neutralelektrode wird der Kontakt zwischen
der Neutralelektrode und der Haut nicht überwacht.
Bei unzureichendem Kontakt zwischen Neutralelek-
trode und Haut erzeugt das Gerät kein optisches
und kein akustisches Warnsignal.

WARNUNG: Verbrennungsgefahr für den
Patienten unter der Neutralelektrode!
Überprüfen Sie in den Begleitpapieren des Herstel-
lers der Neutralelektrode, ob die Neutralelektrode
®
für das eingesetzte AUTOCON
II 200 geeignet ist.
Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Neutralelektroden.
Bei Applikation einer ein ächigen Neutralelektrode:
Überprüfen Sie die Neutralelektrode regelmäßig auf
guten Kontakt zur Haut.
Überprüfen Sie in den Begleitpapieren des Her-
stellers des Neutralelektroden-Kabels, ob das
Neutralelektroden-Kabel für die eingesetzte Neutral-
elektrode geeignet ist.
Verwenden Sie nur geeignete Neutralelektroden-Kabel.

Risk of burns
HF surgery always entails certain risks for both user
and patient. Above all, contact burns can occur
due to unintentional thermal damage of tissue.
With a knowledge of the possible causes, and by
observing the safety instructions below, burns can,
however, be avoided.
Incompatible or single-faced neutral
electrodes
When using an incompatible neutral electrode,
you must take into account that the monitoring of
the contact between the neutral electrode and the
skin is not accurate. When using a single-faced
neutral electrode, the contact between the neutral
electrode and the skin is not monitored. The device
does not produce an optical or acoustic warning
signal when there is insuf cient contact between
the neutral electrode and the skin.

WARNING: This exposes the patient to
a risk of burning in the area beneath the
neutral electrode!
Use the accompanying documentation supplied by
the neutral electrode's manufacturer to establish
whether the neutral electrode is suitable for the

AUTOCON
II 200 in use.
Only suitable neutral electrodes should be used.
When using a single-faced neutral electrode: Check
regularly that the neutral electrode is in appropriate
contact with the skin.
Use the accompanying documentation supplied by
the neutral electrode cable's manufacturer to estab-
lish whether the neutral electrode cable is suitable
for the neutral electrode in use.
Only suitable neutral electrode cables should be
used.
