Neutralelektrode anschließen

HINWEIS: Beachten Sie unbedingt die
Informationen zur Neutralelektrode im
Abschnitt über Sicherheitshinweise auf Seite
21 und 31.
Die Neutralelektroden-Kontrollleuchten unterhalb
der Selektions-Taste der Neutralelektroden-Buchse
zeigen (bei eingeschaltetem Gerät) an, welche
Neutralelektroden-Typen am Gerät angeschlossen
werden dürfen:
• Nur das obere Symbol der zwei ächigen Elek-
trode leuchtet: nur Anschluss einer zwei ächigen
Neutralelektrode erlaubt (Neutralelektroden-
Einstellung »zwei ächig« oder »dynamisch«)
• Nur das untere Symbol der ein ächigen Elek-
trode leuchtet: nur Anschluss einer ein ächigen
Neutralelektrode erlaubt (Neutralelektroden-
Einstellung »ein ächig«)
• Das obere und das untere Elektrodensym-
bol leuchten (siehe Abbildung): Anschluss
beider Neutralelektroden-Typen erlaubt
(Neutralelektroden-Einstellung »beliebig«)
Neutralelektrode am Patienten anbringen
1. Bringen Sie die Neutralelektrode am Patienten
an.
2. Verbinden Sie die Neutralelektrode mit der
Neutralelektroden-Buchse am Gerät.
3. Kontrollieren Sie die Neutralelektroden-
Kontrollleuchte unterhalb der Selektions-Taste
der Neutralelektrode (siehe Abbildung).
Anzeige grün: die Unipolaren Buchsen des Geräts
können aktiviert werden.
Anzeige rot: die Unipolaren Buchsen des Geräts
können nicht aktiviert werden. Mögliche Ursachen:
• Falscher Neutralelektroden-Typ angeschlos-
sen (z. B. ein ächige statt zwei ächige
Neutralelektrode)
• Verbindung zum Gerät unterbrochen
• Kontaktlasche der Elektrode nicht vollständig in
die Anschlussklammer geschoben
• Neutralelektrode nicht korrekt ausgerichtet (nur
bei zwei ächiger Elektrode überwacht!)
• Kontakt zwischen Haut und Elektrode zu gering
(nur bei zwei ächiger Elektrode überwacht!)*

Connecting the neutral electrode

NOTE: Please observe the information on the
neutral electrode in the section about safety
information on pages 21 and 31 at all times.
The neutral electrode indicators below the selection
key of the neutral electrode socket show (when the
unit is switched on) which neutral electrode types
can be connected to the unit:
• If only the upper symbol of the two-faced
electrode lights up: You may only connect a
two-faced neutral electrode (neutral electrode
setting 'two-faced' or 'dynamic').
• If only the lower symbol of the single-faced
electrode lights up: You may only connect a
single-faced neutral electrode (neutral electrode
setting 'single-faced').
• If the upper and lower electrode symbols light
up (see image): You may connect both neutral
electrode types (neutral electrode setting 'either
way').
Af xing the neutral electrode to the patient
1. Af x the neutral electrode to the patient.
2. Connect the neutral electrode to the neutral
electrode socket on the unit.
3. Check the neutral electrode indicator below the
neutral electrode selection key of the neutral
electrode (see image).
Display green: The unipolar sockets on the unit can
be activated.
Display red: The unipolar sockets on the unit can-
not be activated. Possible causes:
• Incorrect neutral electrode type connected
(e.g., single-faced instead of two-faced neutral
electrode)
• Connection to unit interrupted
• Contact tab of electrode not completely inserted
into connection clip
• Neutral electrode not correctly aligned (only
monitored for two-faced electrode!)
• Too little contact between skin and electrode
(only monitored for two-faced electrode!)*
