Leistungsbegrenzung einstellen
Voraussetzung: Die einzustellende Buchse ist se-
lektiert und der gewünschte Modus ist eingestellt.
Die Leistungsbegrenzung legt die maximale Leis-
tung fest, die das Gerät im gewählten CUT- bzw.
COAG-Modus zur Verfügung stellt. Die Leistungs-
begrenzung darf nicht mit der tatsächlich durch das
Gerät applizierten Leistung verwechselt werden, da
diese vom Gerät situationsabhängig geregelt wird.
Die Leistungsbegrenzung dient dem Schutz des
Patienten oder des Instruments vor einer zu hohen
Leistung.
Eine Änderung der Leistungsbegrenzung hat nur
dann einen Ein uss auf das CUT oder COAG-
Ergebnis, wenn die tatsächlich durch das Gerät
applizierte Leistung die eingestellte Leistungsbe-
grenzung erreicht.
Zur Änderung der CUT-Leistungsbegrenzung die
±|Tasten neben der Leistungsanzeige (max.|Watts)
im CUT Bereich drücken.
Zur Änderung der COAG-Leistungsbegrenzung die
±|Tasten neben der Leistungsanzeige (max. Watts)
im COAG Bereich drücken (siehe Pfeil).
Fußschalterzuordnung und AUTO START-
Funktion einstellen
Der HF-Strom kann über Schalter eines Instru-
ments, über Fußschalter oder automatisch über die
AUTO START-Funktion aktiviert werden.

zuweisen
Auf der Rückseite des Gerätes können Sie einen
Zweipedal-Fußschalter und/oder einen Einpedal-
Fußschalter anschließen. Der Zweipedal-Fuß-
schalter hat ein gelbes Pedal zur Aktivierung des
CUT-Stroms und ein blaues Pedal zur Aktivierung
des COAG-Stroms. Der Einpedal-Fußschalter hat
ein blaues Pedal zur Aktivierung des COAG-Stroms.

Setting the power limitation
Prerequisite: The socket to be set is selected and
the required mode set.
The power limitation speci es the maximum output
provided by the unit in the selected CUT/COAG
mode. The power limitation must not be confused
with the output actually applied by the unit, as this
is controlled by the unit depending on the situation.
The power limitation is intended to protect the pa-
tient or the instrument against an excessive output.
Changing the power limitation only has an in uence
on the CUT or COAG result if the output actually
applied by the unit reaches the set power limitation.
Press the ±|keys next to the output display (max.
watts) in the CUT area to change the CUT power
limitation.
Press the ±|keys next to the output display (max.
watts) in the COAG area (see arrow) to change the
COAG power limitation.
Setting the footswitch assignment and AUTO
START function
The HF current can be activated via an instrument
switch, via footswitches, or automatically via the
AUTO START function.
Assigning the footswitches or the AUTO
START function
You can connect a dual-pedal footswitch and/or
single-pedal footswitch to the rear of the unit. The
dual-pedal footswitch has a yellow pedal for activat-
ing the CUT current and a blue pedal for activating
the COAG current. The single-pedal footswitch has
a blue pedal for activating the COAG current.
