Die Pedale der beiden Fußschalter können Sie den
verschiedenen Buchsen des Geräts zuordnen.
Beispiel: Das blaue und gelbe Pedal des Zweipedal-
Fußschalters wird der Unipolaren Buchse zugeord-
net und das blaue Pedal des Einpedal-Fußschalters
der Bipolaren Buchse.
Die AUTO START-Funktion kann nur für die Bipolare
Buchse und den COAG-Strom aktiviert werden. Die
AUTO START-Funktion bewirkt, dass der COAG-
Strom nach einer Zeitverzögerung automatisch
aktiviert wird, nachdem Sie das zu koagulierende
Gewebe mit einem bipolaren Instrument gefasst
haben.
Die Zeitverzögerung wird im Setup-Menü über den
Parameter »AUTO START (-Zeit)« eingestellt (siehe
Seite 74).
Die Leistungsbegrenzung kann maximal auf 50|Watt
eingestellt werden. Die Aktivierung des COAG-
Stroms endet, wenn Sie das Instrument öffnen bzw.
vom Gewebe entfernen. Bei einem COAG-Modus
mit AUTO STOP-Funktion endet die Aktivierung
zusätzlich automatisch, wenn der Widerstand des
Koagulats einen bestimmten Wert überschreitet.
Damit wird eine zu frühe oder zu späte Beendigung
des Koagulationsvorgangs verhindert.

HINWEIS: Wenn die AUTO START-Funktion
aktiviert ist, kann der CUT-Strom der Bipolaren
Buchse nicht mit dem Fußschalter aktiviert
werden.

Installation and

The pedals of both footswitches can be assigned to
the different sockets on the unit.
Example: The blue and yellow pedals of the
dual-pedal footswitch are assigned to the unipolar
socket and the blue pedal of the single-pedal foot-
switch to the bipolar socket.
The AUTO START function can only be activated
for the bipolar socket and the COAG current. The
AUTO START function works in that the COAG
current is automatically activated after a time delay
once you have grasped the tissue to be coagulated
with a bipolar instrument.
The delay is set via the 'AUTO START (time)' pa-
rameter in the set-up menu (see page 74).
The power limitation can be set at a maximum of
50 W. The activation of the COAG current ends
when you open the instrument or remove it from the
tissue. In a COAG mode with AUTO STOP function,
the activation also ends automatically if the resis-
tance of the coagulate exceeds a speci ed value.
This prevents too early or too late termination of the
coagulation procedure.

vated, the CUT current of the bipolar socket
cannot be activated via the footswitch.
