Implantate
Bei Patienten mit eingesetzten elektrisch-leitfähigen
Metallimplantaten, ist darauf zu achten, dass bei
allen Anwendungen mit HF-Chirurgie der Strom uss
oder Stromweg des hochfrequenten elektrischen
Stroms nicht durch oder über das Implantat führt.
Bei Stromeintritts- und -austrittsstelle von Bio-
Gewebe zu Implantat können durch Stromkonzen-
tration irreparable innere Verbrennungen verursacht
werden.
Sicherheitseinrichtungen
WARNUNG:|Sicherheitsabschaltung bei
gerätebedingter Fehldosierung
Abweichungen vom Sollwert der jeweils eingestell-
ten HF-Ausgangsleistung werden vom Gerät aus
geregelt. Eine unabhängige Sicherheits schaltung
überwacht die Leistungsabgabe und schaltet sie
ab, wenn das ordnungsgemäße Schneiden oder
Koagulieren nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.
Überwachung der Aktivierungsdauer
Bei Anwendung am Patienten wird der HF-Gene-
rator bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch jeweils
nur kurzzeitig aktiviert. Die Aktivierungs zeit des
HF-Gerätes wird deshalb überwacht. Das Über-
schreiten der maximalen Aktivierungs zeit wird durch
die Fehlermeldung B-1C auf dem Display ange-
zeigt und die Leistungsabgabe wird abgeschaltet.
Diese Sicherheitsschaltung dient dazu, Schäden
infolge unbeabsichtigter Aktivierung der Elektro-
den zu verringern. Die Begrenzung der maximalen
Aktivierungszeit ist bei Auslieferung des Gerätes
40|Sekunden. Eine spezi sche Einstellung kann
im Service-Bildschirm (siehe Hinweis Seite 75) im
Bereich zwischen einer und 99|Sekunden und »off«
vorgenommen werden.

HINWEIS: Bei unbegrenzter Aktivierung kann
das Gerät sehr stark beschädigt werden.

In the case of patients with electrically conduc-
tive metal implants it must be ensured that with all
applications involving HF surgery the current ow
or current path of the HF electric current does not
pass through or over the implant. At the current
entry and exit points into and from the bio-tissue
to the implant, current concentration may cause
irreparable internal burns.
Safety devices
WARNING:|Safety circuit switches off in case
of output error caused by the unit
Deviations from the setpoint of the respective HF
output that has been set are corrected by the
unit. An independent safety circuit monitors the
power output and switches it off if proper cutting or
coagulation is no longer ensured.
Monitoring the activation time
With
patient application, the HF generator is only
activated brie y when used as prescribed. The ac-
tivation time of the HF generator is therefore moni-
tored. If the maximum activation time is exceeded,
this is indicated by the error message B-1C on the
display. The power output is then switched off. This
safety circuit reduces damage resulting from unin-
tended activation of the electrodes. The maximum
activation time is limited to 40|seconds on delivery.
In the service screen (see Note on page 75) you
can select 'off' or a speci c value between 1 and
99 seconds.
