Automatisch über die AUTO START-Funktion

HINWEIS: In manchen Ländern ist die
Aktivierung der AUTO START-Funktion nicht
möglich.
Die AUTO START-Funktion kann nur für die Bipolare
Buchse und den COAG-Strom aktiviert werden.
Die AUTO START-Funktion bewirkt, dass der
COAG-Strom nach einer Zeitverzögerung automatisch
aktiviert wird, nachdem Sie das zu koagulierende Ge-
webe mit einem bipolaren Instrument gegriffen haben.
Die Leistungsbegrenzung kann maximal auf 50 Watt
eingestellt werden.
1. Drücken Sie die Selektions-Taste der
Bipolaren|Buchse.
Die Buchse wird selektiert.
Der CUT-COAG-Bildschirm der Bipolaren Buchse
wird angezeigt.
2. Wählen Sie ein Programm mit aktivierter AUTO
START-Funktion oder stellen Sie bei Bedarf die
Aktivierung der AUTO START-Funktion manuell
ein (siehe Seite 67 ff.).
Im Display und durch die AUTO START-Kontroll-
leuchte neben der Bipolaren Buchse wird die Ak-
tivierung der AUTO START-Funktion angezeigt.
3. Greifen Sie mit dem Bipolaren Instrument das zu
koagulierende Gewebe/Gefäß.
Nach der voreingestellten Verzögerungszeit
(Einstellung siehe Seite 74) aktiviert das Gerät
automatisch den COAG-Strom.
Die Aktivierung des COAG-Stroms endet, wenn Sie
das Instrument öffnen bzw. vom Gewebe entfernen.
Bei einem COAG-Modus mit AUTO STOP-Funktion
endet die Aktivierung zusätzlich automatisch, wenn
der Widerstand des Koagulats einen bestimmten
Wert überschreitet. Damit wird eine zu frühe oder
zu späte Beendigung des Koagulationsvorgangs
verhindert.
Effekt/Leistungsbegrenzung ändern
Um das CUT- oder COAG-Ergebnis zu optimieren,
kann es gelegentlich angebracht sein, während
der Anwendung den CUT- oder COAG-Effekt und/
oder die CUT- oder COAG-Leistungsbegrenzung zu
ändern (siehe dazu die Seiten 66 und 67).

NOTE: Activation via the AUTO START func-
tion is not possible in some countries.
The AUTO START function can only be activated for
the bipolar socket and the COAG current.
The AUTO START function works in that the COAG
current is automatically activated after a time delay
once you have grasped the tissue to be coagulated
with a bipolar instrument.
The power limitation can be set at a maximum of
50 W.
1. Press the selection key of the bipolar socket.
The socket is selected.
The CUT-COAG screen of the bipolar socket is
displayed.
2. Select a program with activated AUTO START
function or set the activation of the AUTO
START function manually if necessary (see page
67 ff.).
The activation of the AUTO START function is
shown in the display and by the AUTO START
indicator next to the bipolar socket.
3. Use the bipolar instrument to grasp the tissue/
vessel to be coagulated.
Following the preset delay, (setting see
page 74), the unit activates the COAG current
automatically.
The activation of the COAG current ends when you
open the instrument or remove it from the tissue.
In a COAG mode with AUTO STOP function, the
activation also ends automatically if the resistance
of the coagulate exceeds a speci ed value. This
prevents too early or too late termination of the
coagulation procedure.
Changing effect / power limitation
To optimize the CUT or COAG result, it can prove
practical on occasion to change the CUT or COAG
effect and/or the CUT or COAG power limitation
during the application (see pages 66 and 67).
