Eine Prüfung des Anschlusskabels der Neutralelek-
trode kann vor Einsatz des HF-Chirurgiegerätes wie
folgt vorgenommen werden:
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein.
Drücken Sie die Selektions-Taste Neutralelek-
trode| y (»Buchsenübersicht«). Überprüfen Sie
auf dem Display, ob das Gerät auf »Neutralelek-
trode: beliebig« (Either way) eingestellt ist.
Stecken Sie das Anschlusskabel in die
Neutralelektroden-Buchse.
• Wenn Anschlusskabel und Klammer in Ordnung
sind, müssen die Darstellungen der zwei ä-
chigen und der ein ächigen Neu tralelektrode
an der Neutralelektroden-Buchse rot leuchten!
Wenn die Darstellungen grün leuchten, liegt ein
Kurzschluss im Anschlusskabel vor. (Die Signal-
zuweisung bei diesem Test, rotes Signal - kein
Kurzschluss, grünes Signal - Kurzschluss, ist
technisch bedingt und korrekt.)

Check the connection cable of the neutral electrode
before application as follows:
• Switch the unit on.
Press the neutral electrode selection key y
('Socket overview'). Check on the display to see
whether 'Neutral electrode: either way' is set for
the unit.
Insert the connection cable into the neutral
electrode socket.
• If the connection cable and clip are functioning
correctly, the symbols for the two-faced and
one-faced neutral electrodes should light up red
on the neutral electrode socket! If the symbols
light up green, there is a short circuit in the
connection cable. (The signal assignment in this
text: Red signal - no short circuit; green signal -
short circuit, is due to the technology employed
and is correct.)
