Gase im Magen-Darm-Trakt
Explosionsgefahr für den Patienten!
❏ Saugen Sie die Gase vor Anwendung der
HF-Chirurgie ab oder spülen Sie mit CO

WARNUNG: Verbrennungsfördernde
Gase z. B. Sauerstoff, Lachgas
Die Gase können sich in Materialien wie
Watte oder Mull ansammeln. Die Materiali-
en werden hochendzündlich.
Brandgefahr für Patient und medizini-
sches Personal! Gefahr für Sachen.
❏ Verwenden Sie keine verbrennungsfördern-
den Gase, wenn eine OP im Bereich von
Kopf oder Thorax ausgeführt wird.
❏ Ist die Verwendung unvermeidlich, müssen
Sie die verbrennungsfördernden Gase vor
Anwendung der HF-Chirurgie absaugen.
❏ Entfernen Sie gefährdete Materialien vor
Anwendung der HF-Chirurgie.
❏ Überprüfen Sie Sauerstoff führende Schläu-
che und Verbindungen auf Leckstellen.
❏ Überprüfen Sie Endotrachealtuben und
deren Manschetten auf Leckstellen.

WARNUNG: Aktive oder heiße Instru-
mente in Berührung mit brennbaren
Materialien
Materialien wie Mull, Tupfer, Tücher können
in Brand geraten.
Brandgefahr für Patient und medizini-
sches Personal! Gefahr für Sachen.
❏ Bringen Sie aktive oder heiße Instrumente
nicht in Berührung mit brennbaren Materialien.
❏ Legen Sie Instrumente an einen sicheren
Ort ab: steril, trocken, nicht leitend, gut
einsehbar. Abgelegte Instrumente dürfen
mit dem Patienten, dem medizinischen
Personal und brennbaren Materialien nicht
in Berührung kommen.

WARNING: Combustible gases, e.g.,
oxygen, nitrous oxide
The gases can collect in materials such as
cotton wool or gauze. These materials are
highly ammable.
Risk of burns for patient or medical per-
sonnel. Material risks.
❏ Do not use combustible gases when per-
forming operations on the head or thorax.
❏ If the use of combustible gases is unavoid-
able, they must be aspirated prior to begin-
ning the HF surgery.
❏ Remove the compromised material prior to
beginning HF surgery.
❏ Check tubes carrying oxygen and connec-
tions for leaks.
❏ Inspect the endotracheal tubes and their
cuffs for leaks.

WARNING: Activated or hot instru-
ments in contact with flammable
materials
Materials such as gauze, sponges, and
cloths may catch alight.
Risk of burns for patient or medical per-
sonnel. Material risks.
❏ Do not allow activated or hot instruments
to come into contact with ammable
materials.
❏ Place the instruments in a safe place; ster-
ile, dry, non-conductive, clearly visible. In-
struments which have been set down must
not come into contact with the patient, the
medical personnel, or ammable materials.

and disinfectants, ignitable solvents
in adhesives used on the patient or on
the unit/equipment trolley
