Warn- und Vorsichtshinweise
❏ Schalten Sie sofort den Netzschalter des
HF-Chirurgiegerätes aus. Entfernen Sie das
Instrument erst dann aus dem Körper.

WARNUNG: Kapazitive Kopplung zwi-
schen den Leitungen zweier Instrumente
Bei Aktivierung eines Instrumentes
kann Strom in die Leitung eines ande-
ren Instrumentes übertragen werden
( Kapazitive Kopplung).
Dem Patienten drohen Verbrennungen,
wenn das nichtaktive, aber trotzdem Strom
führende Instrument direkten oder indirek-
ten Kontakt mit ihm hat.
Verbrennungsgefahr für den Patienten!
❏ Führen Sie die Leitungen der Instrumente
so, dass sie einen möglichst großen Ab-
stand zueinander haben.
❏ Legen Sie Instrumente an einen sicheren
Ort ab: steril, trocken, nicht leitend, gut
einsehbar.
❏ Abgelegte Instrumente dürfen mit dem
Patienten, dem medizinischen Personal und
brennbaren Materialien nicht in Berührung
kommen.
❏ Abgelegte Instrumente dürfen den Patien-
ten auch nicht indirekt berühren. Indirekt
berühren kann ein Instrument den Patienten
z. B. über elektrisch leitfähige Gegenstände
oder nasse Tücher.

WARNUNG: Zu hohe Leistungseinstel-
lung, zu lange Einschaltdauer, zu hohe
Effekte
Je höher die Leistungseinstellung, je länger
die Einschaltdauer des Gerätes, je höher
der Effekt desto größer ist das Risiko unge-
wollter Gewebeschäden.
Gefahr ungewollter Gewebeschäden für
den Patienten!
❏ Stellen Sie die Leistung bezogen auf den
gewünschten chirurgischen Effekt so nied-
rig wie möglich ein. Zu niedrige Leistungs-
einstellungen können allerdings Gefahren
verursachen.
❏ Aktivieren Sie das Gerät bezogen auf den
gewünschten chirurgischen Effekt so kurz
wie möglich.

❏ Turn the power switch of the HF surgical
unit off immediately. Only then should you
remove the instrument from the body.

WARNING: Capacitive coupling be-
tween the cables of two instruments
When one instrument is activated, current
can be transferred to the cable of another
instrument (capacitive coupling).
There is a risk of burns for the patient if the
non-activated, but still electrically conduc-
tive instrument comes into direct or indirect
contact with the patient.
Risk of burns for patient!
❏ Route the cables of the instruments in such
a way that they are as far apart from each
other as possible.
❏ Place the instruments in a safe place; ster-
ile, dry, non-conductive, clearly visible.
❏ Instruments which have been set down
must not come into contact with the pa-
tient, the medical personnel, or ammable
materials.
❏ When set down, instruments should also
not be in indirect contact with the patient.
The instrument can be in indirect contact
with the patient via electrically conductive
objects or wet drapes, for example.

WARNING: Excessively high output/
activation period/effects
The higher the output setting of the unit,
the longer the length of activation and the
higher the effect, the greater the risk of
undesirable tissue damage.
Risk of undesirable tissue damage for the
patient!
❏ Set the output as low as possible with
respect to the desired surgical effect.
However, excessively low output settings
can pose risks.
❏ Activate the unit for as short a time as pos-
sible with respect to the desired surgical
effect.
