11.13 Disc brake button ("AUX1")

The "AUX1" button (fig. 1, no. 6) activates the disc brake (controlled by a servo). The disc brake is engaged as long
as you keep the button pressed.
Attention!
Short braking actions with the disc brake are usually sufficient. The speed controller also has a brake
function that is sufficient for most braking applications, depending on the track.
Leaving the disc brake engaged for too long can cause the vehicle to skid and become uncontrollable. The
tyres will eventually lock up, which can damage the tyre tread. Execute several short braking movements
in a row, if necessary.
We recommend that you try the disc brake out on a suitable flat surface so that you can get the hang
of it.

11.14 Slide switch for the additional control channel ("AUX2")

Use the "AUX2" slide switch (fig. 1, no. 5) on the transmitter to activate additional functions; the switch has 3 different
positions.
For example, you can use it to control additional lighting or a sound system in the vehicle at the corresponding receiver
output (see fig. 2, no. A).

11.15 Receiver pin assignment

A "AUX2" connection for the additional control channel (see section 11.14)
B "AUX1" connection for the disc brake
C "THR" connection for the speed controller
D "STR" connection for the steering servo
E "BATT" connection for external power supply (not necessary for this vehi-
cle, as it is supplied via the speed controller)
F LED (on the side; the LED light is also visible from above between the
connection sockets).
