Overview of functions:
Function #1, green LED flashes one time briefly: Drive function

You can switch the speed controller between the two drive modes: "forward/brake", "forward/brake/reverse", and
"forward/reverse".
In "forward/brake" mode, the reverse function can be disabled; this is sometimes required in competitions/races.
Attention!
This vehicle cannot be used in the "forward/reverse" mode. This mode is only suitable for so-called crawler
vehicles. If you attempt to operate the vehicle in this mode, this may cause damage to the gearbox when
changing the vehicle's travel direction and will thus render the warranty/guarantee null and void!
Function #2, green LED flashes two times briefly: Brake

Releasing the throttle lever on the transmitter or moving the throttle lever on the transmitter back to neutral causes
the vehicle to slow down automatically. The effect is just like the engine braking function on a "real" car when you
release the accelerator pedal without pressing the brake pedal.
The brake functions like a brake on a standard electric engine (a brushless electric engine does not have strong
magnets that slow down the rotor).
The 0% setting switches off the motor brake, and 100% is the maximum setting.
Function #3, green LED flashes three times briefly: Low voltage protection

When using lithium drive batteries, always ensure that the undervoltage protection is activated (we recommend
3.2 V/cell for LiPo drive batteries). Operating a lithium rechargeable battery without undervoltage protection will
render the battery permanently unusable due to a deep discharge!
If the speed controller detects a voltage below 19.2 V when using two 3-cell drive batteries and a cut-off voltage
of 3.2 V (6 cells x 3.2 V), it will switch off the motor to prevent a deep discharge.
When using NiMH drive batteries, be sure to disable the undervoltage protection. Alternatively, set the undervolt-
age protection to 2.6 V per cell.
Function #4, green LED flashes 4 times briefly: Startup mode

The vehicle will start to move with more or less force depending on the setting. The higher the setting value, the
more current the engine draws from the connected rechargeable battery; so the rechargeable battery must be
high-performance.
A higher setting should only be used on unpaved surfaces, as paved surfaces may overload the engine (transmis-
sion, differentials).
Function #5, green LED flashes once long: Maximum brake force

The speed controller offers a proportional brake force depending on the position of the transmitter throttle lever.
The maximum braking force at full deflection can be set to 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% or even switched off.
A higher setting (e.g. 100%) decreases the braking distance, but has a negative impact on the lifespan of the
engine (especially the drive pinion and main gear).
