The vehicle does not travel in a straight line
Use the "ST-TRIM" knob (fig. 1, no. 9) to set the straight-ahead travel on the transmitter, as described in sec-
tion 11.6.
Check the steering linkage, the servo arm and the screw connection.
Did the vehicle have an accident? If so, check the vehicle for any defective or broken parts and replace them if
necessary.
The vehicle doesn't move
The drive batteries are empty; the undervoltage detection function has powered off the motor to protect the drive
batteries from detrimental deep discharge.
The receiver or speed controller does not recognise a valid radio signal. The vehicle is too far from the transmitter,
the batteries/rechargeable batteries in the transmitter are empty, or the transmitter is off.
The speed controller is too hot; the overtemperature protection has been triggered. Allow the speed controller to
cool down.
The vehicle moves in the opposite direction to the throttle lever on the remote control
Use the "TH" switch (fig. 1, no. 15) on the transmitter to activate the drive function reversal, as described in sec-
tion 11.11.
The vehicle does not move or moves very slowly
Use the "TH-D/R" knob (fig. 1, no. 10) to increase the dual-rate setting for the drive function, as described in sec-
tion 11.10. Move the knob clockwise to the right.
The vehicle does not travel in reverse
Set the drive function correctly, as described in section 15.2.
Please refer to section 14.7. The vehicle will not reverse until you push the throttle lever away from the handle the
second time (the first time the brake is engaged).
The vehicle moves in the opposite direction to the rotary control on the transmitter
Use the "ST" switch (fig. 1, no. 14) on the transmitter to activate the steering function reversal, as described in
section 11.8.
The steering deflection is too small or the steering does not move
Only when the gyro is disabled: Use the "GYRO LV / ST-D/R" knob (fig. 1, no. 11) to increase the dual-rate steering
setting, as described in section 11.7. Move the knob clockwise to the right.
Re-configure the EPA setting on the transmitter, as described in section 11.12.
The steering moves although no manipulation of the steering wheel on the transmitter takes place
The integrated receiver gyro counter-steers if the vehicle rear swerves. The gyro is also operational when the
vehicle is stationary, e.g. if you want to turn it or reposition it.
You can disable the gyro if you do not need it (see section 12.1).
The steering deflections via the gyro are too strong/weak
Set a lower or higher sensitivity, as described in section 12.2.
The gyro does not work
Switch on the gyro (see section 12.1).
