Catheters

Medtronic ® catheters are designed for epidural/intrathecal or vascular use. The
radiopaque catheter body is elastic, flexible and trimmable. A pump connector
connects to the pump and relieves strain on the catheter.

Programmer

The programmer is designed for use by the clinician to noninvasively interrogate
and program a SynchroMed
implantation. The software/hardware technical manual is supplied with the
programmer. The programmer establishes a two-way, radio-frequency (RF) link
with the pump to transmit interrogation and programming signals to the pump
and to receive status information from the pump. This interchange of information
and programming instructions is referred to as "telemetry."
The programmer includes a computer, programming head and printer and is
powered by AC power. The programmer operates best in an environment which is
free from strong electromagnetic interference. The programmer must be used only
for programming Medtronic
