Description
VL.THRESH sets the user overspeed fault threshold. This threshold becomes the overall overspeed
fault threshold (VL.VFTHRESH) if it is less than the motor speed threshold (1.2 x MOTOR.VMAX),
and for MOTOR.TYPE = 6 if it is less than the motor back EMF overspeed threshold ((1.02 x 1000 x
VBUS.OVFTHRESH) / (MOTOR.KE x sqrt(2))).
The value is considered an absolute value, hence it applies for both negative and positive velocities.
Example
VL.THRESH is set to 600 rpm. A velocity (VL.FB (➜ S. 1287)) of 700 rpm will generate an over speed
fault.
