The FCC/MET label (Figure 146) is located on the
control unit housing (
1 MET marking
2 FCC marking
The MET marking (Figure 146/1) for product safety
is recognised on the USA and Canadian markets,
and shows that electrical and electronic devices
have been tested and certified for safe use in the
workplace.
The FCC marking (Figure 146/2) is required for the
approval of any type of communication devices for
the USA market. The FCC marking confirms the
electromagnetic compatibility of electronic pro-
ducts.
