4.2 Function description
The RK MultiControl II duo and RK MultiControl II quadro controls can be used to position
⮱
drives ( page 180) from RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
Two drives can be connected to the RK MultiControl II duo, and up to four drives can be
connected to the RK MultiControl II quadro.
A synchronisation bus (sync BUS) can be used to connect up to eight controls with each other
and thus synchronously position a maximum of either 16 drives (RK MultiControl II duo) or 32
drives (RK MultiControl II quadro) respectively.
Different versions of the control can be used within a sync BUS system. The BUS
system is operated using a hand switch (Figure 5) connected to the master control.

The hand switch (Figure 5) is either equipped with 2 function buttons or 6 function
buttons and a display screen, depending on the version.
