B2.1306: Paper jam at IDO Output 1 sensor (SN15)
Initial Steps
1.
Check for obstructions in the paper path.
2.
Check the condition of the paper.

HINWEIS:
Set DVM to the appropriate range for the voltage.
VORSICHT!
Be careful when working around electricity.
Moving parts can cause injury.
ACHTUNG:
Do not use the frame as ground.
3.
Verify that the media eject fingers are clear and undamaged.
Test the IDO Output 1 sensor (SN15)
1.
Manually activate SN15.
TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Paper Path, and then click IDO Sensors, Solenoids, LEDs.
Does the sensor state change?
No
Yes
Test the IDO Media Eject motor (M13)
1.
Run M13.
TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Paper Path, and then click IDO Motors.

Does M13 function properly?

No

Check the following
1.
Verify that the sensor is correctly located.
2.
Verify that all of the idler rollers are correctly seated and that the drive roller surfaces are free of defects.
3.
Clean the sensor and the surrounding area.
4.
If the sensor has a flag actuator, check that the flag actuator has free movement.
5.
Check the wire harness between IDO Output 1 sensor (SN15) the and the Motion PCA (A2).

1.
Manually activate SN15.
TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Paper Path, and then click IDO Sensors, Solenoids, LEDs.
Does the sensor state change?
No
