Initial Steps
1.
Check for obstructions in the paper path.
2.
In the case of multifeeds, check the input trays for worn separator parts. Check media for damage.

HINWEIS:
Set DVM to the appropriate range for the voltage.
VORSICHT!
Be careful when working around electricity.
Moving parts can cause injury.
ACHTUNG:
Do not use the frame as ground.
Test the IDO Input Staging 1 sensor (SN7)
1.
Put a sheet of paper in front of SN7.
2.
Manually activate SN7.
TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Paper Path, and then click IDO Sensors, Solenoids, LEDs.
Does the sensor state change?
No
Yes

Verify that the sensor conditions are proper
1.
Verify that the sensor is correctly located.
2.
Verify that all of the idler rollers are correctly seated and that the drive roller surfaces are free of defects.
3.
Clean the sensor and the surrounding area.
4.
If the sensor has a flag actuator, check that the flag actuator has free movement.
5.
Check the wire harness between the IDO Input Staging 1 sensor (SN7) and the Motion PCA (A2).

1.

2.
