Initial Steps
1.
Set DVM to the appropriate range for the voltage.
HINWEIS:
If a servo motor is powered on, it will feel like there is a bind.

VORSICHT!
Be careful when working around electricity.
Moving parts can cause injury.
ACHTUNG:
Do not use the frame as ground.
Turn the Tray 5 Pick Motor encoder (EN101) by hand
1.
Manually turn EN101.

TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Trays 2, 3, 4, and then click Tray 5.
Does the encoder count change?
No
Yes
Check the voltage to the Tray 5 Pick motor (M101) on the Tray 5 Distribution PCA (A101)
1.
Disconnect J4 from A101.
2.
Test the voltage to M101 on A101: -12.9 Vdc at J4 pins 1 to 2.

VORSICHT!
TIPP:
Click Subsystems, click Input Trays, and then click Tray 5.

Is the voltage correct?

No
Yes
Test the voltage at the Tray 5 Pick motor (M101)
1.
Verify that J4 is connected on the Tray 5 Distribution PCA (A101).
2.
Disconnect the wore connector from the motor.
3.
Test the voltage at M101: 5 Vdc at pins 1 to 2 on W104P101-M101.
