3.22 Extraction device 0 986 613 111
The extraction device (fig. 17) is used to clean the
inside of the AdBlue supply module. The extraction
device is connected to the pneumatic system of the
workshop (8 – 10 bar).

If the extraction device is defective, it must be
entirely replaced.

commissioning

Apply the provided stickers to the test device
0 986 613 880.

1. Affix the sticker "Follow operating instructions" to
the front of the test device (fig. 18, item 1). Remove
any grease from the surface to be used.
2. Affix the sticker "Composition of the calibrating
gas" to the side of the test device near the test gas
container (fig. 18, item 2). Remove any grease from
the surface to be used.

4. Special accessories
4.1 Testo gas detector
The gas detector by the Testo company (fig. 19) is
used for leakage tests on the AdBlue supply module.
As test medium, forming gas (5 % H2, 95 % N2) is
used.
Procure the gas detector directly from the Testo
company.

On initial commissioning, the gas detector must be
set to the gas type H2 (hydrogen) and the acou-
stic concentration indicator must be switched on.
Follow the manufacturer's operating instructions.

The manufacturer recommends to have a calibration
performed once a year.
