Test control devices
0 986 614 079 / 080
Test control devices are necessary to test AdBlue
supply modules. The respective test control device
is used (0 986 614 079 for 12 V or 0 986 614 080 for
24 V) depending on the design of the supply module
(12 V or 24 V).
In addition, the tester set 0 986 610 840 and a
KTS 5XX / 6XX are necessary for complete testing.
The diagnostic data are provided via the ESI[tronic]
components diagnosis. A subscription to ESI[tronic]
information type "K" is required.
The test control devices are diagnosed by a resident
diagnosis program and the internal fall memory.
The diagnosis includes reading/deleting the fault me-
mory, an actuator test and function tests.

i
The proper way to connect and use the test control
devices is described in the ESI [tronic] test and
repair instructions.
i
If a test control device is defective, the entire unit
must be exchanged for a new test control device.

Gas manifold 0 986 610 970
The gas manifold is exclusively intended for leakage
tests of the AdBlue circuit of AdBlue supply modules
using forming gas 5.
The membrane grommet (fig. 4, item 2) of the ser-
vice box is designed to prevent of excessive pressure
build-up in the gas manifold and is used to check the
leak-tightness of the internal tubing.
The customer must fit a connection piece (external
thread, 1/4") and a bleeding pipe (not included in the
scope of delivery) to the bleeding port (fig. 4, item 5).
!
The bleeding pipe must be routed from the gas
manifold to outside the building.
