Installation
Configuration of the PLC
This example uses the 'Studio 5000 Logix Designer (version 24.00-MiniEdition)'
software from Rockwell Automation
► Start the 'EDS Hardware Installations Tool' Rockwell software.
- 'Studio 5000\Tools\EDS Hardware Installations Tool'
An EDS file – that can be downloaded from our website www.HBM.com – is
required to configure the EtherNet/IP module.
► Follow the 'Instruments' link, select "Weighing Terminals / Indicators" and
then select your WTX weighing terminal
► Load the 'WTXxxx EtherNet/IP EDS' file, xxx stands for the designation of
your WTX weighing terminal (right click on the link and select "Save target/
link as"). Unzip the file on your hard disk.
► Select the suitable EDS file for the weighing terminal and select "Register a
single file".
