10.5 Calibration
For more information on the keys required to access this menu group, go to
the Navigation Pilot.
The scale is calibrated with this menu group. In addition to calibration at full
load, part load calibration is also possible. If you want to move the scale to a
different location following calibration, you can use the geo value to
compensate for the differing gravitational pull, without having to recalibrate the
scale (not for applications subject to weights and measures legislation).
Precalibration without weights is also possible by entering the standardized
signal (mV/V).
Example of calibration of a tank weigher:
S Three 1000kg load cells with a sensitivity of 1.99995mV/V, 2.00005mV/V
and 2.00000mV/V respectively are used.
S The maximum load is 1500kg and the partitions are 0.5kg.
S The weight of the empty container is 600 kg.
