Please observe the following when installing signal lines:
Signal lines connecting the digital inputs/outputs must be installed so that in­
ductive and capacitive interference from other lines, machines or electrical
devices is ruled out. Interference which changes the input/output signals might
lead to malfunctions and hazardous operating states.
Signal line cables must meet the following specifications:
S Shielded on both sides
S Flexible wires with wire end ferrules
S Cable resistance
Conductor cross-section 0.2mm
Line capacity
Rated voltage
Cable length
Information
To ensure optimal interference suppression of all injected frequencies, the
shield should be applied on both sides.
