12.6 Calibration example

Calibration can also be implemented via a PLC. Details on this are provided in
the following example and in the data word tables (see chapter 12.3, page 151).

12.6.1 Calibration with weight

1. Calibration with zero load
- Unload scale
- Set the "zero load" (outputs words 48/49) to 0x0x7FFFFFFF, output
word 48 = 0x7FFF (32767),
output word 49 = 0xFFFF (65535)
- Send the "Adjust zero load" command (output word 0, bit 7) in
accordance with the signal exchange (see chapter 12.4 "Description of
signal exchange")
If the calibration is successful, the status bit (input word 5, bit 15) is set to 1.
Information
The maximum capacity is automatically adjusted with the new zero load.
