The following table shows fault symptoms and describes remedial measures in the event of your machine failing to
work properly. If you cannot localise and rectify the problem with this, please contact your service workshop.

Remedy
Check fuse / overload protection on device.
Check cable, plug, socket and fuse.
Have the motor or switch checked by a qualified electrician.
When thicknessing:
Check whether the knurled screw (15.1) of the chip ejection
cover (15) is turned up to the end position.
When jointing:
Check whether the discharge table (1) is mounted correctly.
Readjust the contact pins if necessary. Please contact
customer service.
The machine does not restart automatically due to the built-
in undervoltage protection and must be switched on again
when the voltage returns.
Replace blades.
Tension drive belt.
Reduce the cutting depth and machine the workpiece in
multiple operations.
Change or sharpen blades.
Remove chips.
Dry workpiece.
Change or sharpen blades.
Remove chips.
Machine the workpiece from the opposite direction.
Process the workpiece in multiple operations.
Clean the tabletop and treat it with a thin layer of sliding
wax.
Repair transport rollers.
Tension drive belt.
