Explanation of the symbols on the product
Symbols are used in this manual to draw your attention to potential hazards. The safety symbols and the accompany-
ing explanations must be fully understood. The warnings themselves will not rectify a hazard and cannot replace proper
accident prevention measures.
Warning - Read the operating manual to reduce the risk of injury.
Wear hearing protection. Excessive noise can result in a loss of hearing.
Wear a dust protection mask. When machining wood and other materials, harmful dust may
be generated. Do not machine material containing asbestos!
Wear safety goggles. Sparks created during work or chippings and dust ejected by the prod-
uct can cause sight loss.
WARNING! Danger of injury! Do not reach into the planer blade while it is running.
