This is an exercise for training the shoulder
muscles and the top part of the back. It is
important for the prevention of shoulder pains.
Muscles used: deltoid, trapezius
Movement:
- stand facing the equipment, position the
barbell so that you grasp it with your arms
stretched
- fit the discs symmetrically on the barbell pin
and block them with safety catches
- grasp the barbell with your hands close
together and spread your legs slightly for
greater stability
- unhook the barbell by rotating it counter
clockwise
- curl your forearm and bring the barbell up to
your chin, keeping your elbows higher than
your shoulders; then return to the starting
position.
