1. Access the internal CAM computer via a Remote
Desktop connection or hardware.

2. Switch to DENTALCNC.
3. Select the depicted icon which displays
in the main icon bar.
4. Confirm the current message.
The following happens:
a. DENTALCNC downloads the update. This may
take some time, depending on the speed of
your internet connection (download size:
approx. 700 MB).
b. If a firmware update is available, it will be
installed automatically.
c. When the download has finished, DENTALCNC
displays a corresponding message.
5. Confirm the current message.
The following happens:
a. DENTALCNC closes.
b. The download folder opens.
6. Start Setup.exe.
The setup window opens.
7. Continue with configuring the update.
Configuring DENTALCAM & DENTALCNC
updates
In the setup window, do the following:
1. Activate the Update option.
2. Activate the Create Desktop Icon option (optional).
3. Activate the Install USB/Ethernet driver option
(optional).
4. Leave the text in the Destination folder input field as
it is. Otherwise, the setup program will install a
second copy of the applications instead of updat-
ing the existing installation.
5. To start the update, select the following icon:
The setup program updates the core applications.
Depending on the selected components, multiple
installation wizards open.
6. To check for installation wizards that display behind
the setup window, drag the setup window to the
side.
7. Install all components with the help of the install-
ation wizards.
When all installation wizards have completed suc-
cessfully, the update of DENTALCAM and
DENTALCNC is complete.
8. Shut down the internal CAM computer.

DENTALCNC installation or update, customer
service must update the firmware manually.
The applications will not notify you of new firm-
ware versions.
