Z4 – Installing the machine
Accessing Windows ® on the CAM computer
using a Remote Desktop connection
Microsoft Remote Desktop allows you to work with
®
the CAM computer from another computer as if you
were using the CAM computer directly.
1. Start the Remote Desktop Connection desktop applic-
ation. Do not start the Windows
Desktop.

The Remote Desktop Connection window opens.

2. Enter the following into the Computer combo box:
Machine serial number
Example: Z4ID212345678
3. Select [Connect].
You are prompted to enter the login credentials.
4. Enter the following login credentials:
User: camcomputer
n
Password: camcomputer
n
store app Remote

If a different default user name displays that you
cannot change, do the following:
a. Select More choices.
Additional options display.
b. Select Use a different account.
You can enter the user name given above.
5. Select [OK].
The desktop of the CAM computer displays in the
remote desktop application window. Through it
you can access files and start applications on the
CAM computer.
